The Plankton is a meaty all around shortboard. It is designed in response to the frame-shift in modern surfing towards shorter, wider boards. The Plankton can float through miserable sections and be poised to hit the lip when a wave shapes up. Aggressive single concavity, coupled with a generous amount of tail rocker, give this board a crisp, snappy feel. With a bit of extra volume, the Plankton is the definition of a Northwest daily driver. If you have to choose a single shortboard for any type of conditions, this is it.
